Day 20 Reflection
ALLAH LOVES YOU!
ALLAH LOVES ME!
ALLAH LOVES US ALL.
Please do not SLIP and LOSE your CONFIDENCE because you THINK you did not do well during the past 20 days.
You TRIED your BEST and you can TRY HARDER.
RISE UP INSHALLAH.
Ibn al-Jawzi (May Allah have mercy upon him) said:
"When the race horse knows that it is nearing the end of the track it exerts all of its effort to win the race. Do not allow the race horse to be more clever than you. For verily, deeds are judged by their conclusions. So if you didn't do well with welcoming Ramadan then perhaps you will do better bidding it farewell."
Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy upon him) said “Improve your performance in what is left (of time) and you will be forgiven for that which has already passed. So take special care of the time you have left because you do not know when your soul will be turned over to Allah’s Mercy.”
A few seasons ago of Magnetic Love With Ramadan, I with Allah's help did a three part series called Rise Up.
The first part was titled:
Reminiscing how the Sahaba spent the blessed month of Ramadan.
Pull your strings and prove to Allah that He did not create a weak servant of His inshaAllah.
Every morning, we are born again.

Day 21 Reflection
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We have completed by His Grace the first odd night of the last ten days of Ramadan.
What does fire mean to you?
When I personally think about the fire, I see two approaches from an everyday perspective the good and bad and the spiritual perspective on the fire.
Let us begin with the everyday perspective, we use the fire to cook food and to keep us warm. However, we also have a form of fear whereby there is a reflex action where we move our hand straight away out of pain when we accidentally touch a hot stove.
Imagine all of our body in fire because we disobeyed Allah and did not sought out His mercy forgiveness and repentance.
These last ten days are the third Ashra which is to protect us from fire.
"And whosoever disobeys God and His Messenger, then surely, for him is the fire of Hell, he shall dwell therein forever."
[Quran 72:23]
"O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones over which are (appointed) angels, stern and severe, who flinch not (from executing) the commands they receive from God, but do (precisely what) they are commanded."
[Quran 66:6]
It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times, Paradise will say, ‘O Allah, admit him to Paradise.’ Whoever seeks protection from the Fire three times, Hell will say, ‘O Allah, protect him from the Fire.’”
[al-Tirmidhi, 2572; Ibn Majah, 4340.]
Today I want to focus on one of the Parables of the Prophet (peace be upon him) Moses since it is also Passover for the Jews. Respect.
Passover is celebrated due to liberation of slavery of the Bani Israel in Egypt and passing over the forces of destruction.
However, what we have witnessed over the past week during the blessed month of Ramadan is that the Zionist branch of the Jews caused mass destruction and injury to the old and young Palestinians whilst praying and bombing them. May Allah protect them and bring peace.
Freedom to bring and teach Freedom but never War is a solution to overcome the past.
Coming back to the fire from a spiritual perspective, Prophet Moses departed for Egypt with his family after staying in Madyan for the appointed period and he stopped near Mount Tur when he lost direction and he noticed a fire shining brightly.
Surah Al Naml (The Ant) Verse 27:7 to 14 from Tafsir Ibn Kathir.
˹Remember˺ when Moses said to his family, “I have spotted a fire. I will either bring you some directions1 from there, or a burning torch so you may warm yourselves.”27:7
But when he came to it, he was called ˹by Allah˺, “Blessed is the one at the fire, and whoever is around it!1 Glory be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds.27:8
(This is in reference to when he came to it, he saw a great and terrifying sight: the fire was burning in a green bush, and the fire was burning ever brighter while the bush was growing ever more green and beautiful. Then he raised his head, and saw that its light was connected to the clouds of the sky.
Ibn `Abbas and others said, "It was not a fire, rather it was shining light.'' According to one report narrated from Ibn `Abbas, it was the Light of the Lord of the worlds. Musa stood amazed by what he was seeing, and whosoever is in the fire and around it which is related to the angels.
This was the view of Ibn `Abbas, `Ikrimah, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Al-Hasan and Qatadah.
Allah does whatever He wills and there is nothing like Him among His creation. Nothing He has made can encompass Him, and He is the Exalted, the Almighty, Who is utterly unlike all that He has created. Heaven and earth cannot contain Him, but He is the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who is far above any comparison with His creation.)
O Moses! It is truly I. I am Allah—the Almighty, All-Wise.27:9
(Allah told him that the One Who was addressing him was his Lord Allah, the All-Mighty, Who has subjugated and subdued all things, the One Who is Wise in all His words and deeds.)
Now, throw down your staff!” But when he saw it slithering like a snake, he ran away without looking back. ˹Allah reassured him,˺ “O Moses! Do not be afraid! Messengers should have no fear in My presence.27:10
(He commanded him to throw down the stick that was in his hand, so that He might show him clear proof that He is the One Who is able to do all things, whatever He wills. When Musa threw that stick down, it changed into the form of a huge and terrifying snake (Jann), moving quickly despite its size.
When Musa saw that with his own eyes, he did not turn around, because he was so afraid. Allah reassured and said do not be afraid of what you see, for I want to choose you as a Messenger and make you a great Prophet.')
˹Fear is˺ only for those who do wrong. But if they later mend ˹their˺ evil ˹ways˺ with good, then I am certainly All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.27:11
Allah is telling us, that we mankind, whoever does an evil deed then gives it up and repents and turns to Allah, Allah will accept his repentance.
Aisha (may Allah mercy upon her) asked the Prophet (peace be upon him):
'O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?'
He replied:
'Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.'
اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُعَنِّي
Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee

Day 22 Reflection
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Another spiritual perspective that is associated with the fire is the story of our beloved Prophet
\\nIbrahim (peace be upon him).
Prophet Ibrahim was on his journey to find out who was indeed his Creator and when he discovered that our dear lord, Allah (The Most High) was The One who created everything. He wanted to help his people in Babylon and show them the truth. Babylon at the time was ruled by a king called Nimrod.
The idols were damaged and the people of Babylon wanted to seek revenge and Prophet Ibrahim was sentenced to be burnt alive by Nimrod and his council of priests. Thousands of people in Babylon came to witness the public execution.
In preparation, a huge pit was dug and filles with wood. Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was chained from hands and feet and was put on a catapult that would throw him into the fire.
At this point, Angel Jibreel (peace be with him) came and asked the Prophet, what does he wish for. He responded that he only wishes that Allah (The Most High) to be pleased with him.
Our dear Lord, is the Most Merciful did not allow Prophet Ibrahim to be burnt in the fire and ordered it to be cool and peaceful for him. The fire, a non-living organism obeyed the order and only burnt away the chains in which our beloved Prophet was tied to.
This astonished those who waited for his body to be burnt and cried out:
“Ibrahim’s God has saved him from the flames!”
(They said, "Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act."
Allah said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."
And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers.)
Surah Al Anbiya (The Prophets) verse 68 till 70.
This emphasises how Allah is the Most Powerful defying all form of theoretical laws of physics and chemistry.
During these last ten days, make lots of dua for protection of the Hell-fire where there is no bardan (coolness) and no salama (safety) on the Day of Reckoning.
Seek Allah's forgiveness and repentance.
Our Allah burn our sins and bad deeds and protect us from wrath on the Day of Reckoning, you are the Most Merciful.
Anas bin Malik (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever asks Allah (The Most High) Paradise three times, Paradise says: ‘O Allah, admit him into Paradise’, and whoever seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: ‘O Allah, save him from the Fire.'”
(Al Tirmidhi 2572)

Day 23 Reflection
Over the past several days, we have been saying the following dua:
' O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.'
اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُعَنِّي
Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee
[Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi]
Allah (The Most High) is the Most Wise.
He informed us that Ramadan is divided into three sets of days, Mercy, Forgiveness and Protection of the Fire.
However, there was not a specific set of ten days for Afuw, instead, we strive hard for each night of the last ten days begging for Afuw and reciting the dua.
What is the difference?
To obtain Afuw (Pardoning) is not easy, because Allah has saw us do the sin either through seeing, hearing or knowing and is aware of the Unseen.
Forgiveness is concealing our sins to avoid punishment and He will ask us about it on the Day of Reckoning between you and Him.
However, Afuw is when the sins are ERASED from existence as if it not happened at all and we will not be asked.
This is why we strive for the Night of Power to seek The Pardoner (Al-Afuw).
In the Quran, pardoning appears in four different forms 35 times:
'Afaa' forgave
'Al Afwa' to forgive.
'Afayna' those who pardon.
However Al Afaw has been mentioned 5 times.
(4:43, 4:99, 4:149, 22:20, 58:2).
May Allah pardon and forgive us Ameen.
Furthermore, in the Qur'an, Allah (The Most High) said in Surah Al Imran 3:191 till 3:194
(3:191) those who remember Allah while standing, sitting or (reclining) on their backs, and reflect in the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): 'Our Lord! You have not created this in vain. Glory to You! Save us, then, from the chastisement of the Fire.
(Tafsir ibn Kathir mentioned that the signs allow us to arrive at the Truth, provided one is not indifferent to God and looks at the phenomenon of the universe thoughtfully and clearly with wisdom and intelligence and to remember Allah (The Most High). This allows one to develop a strong conviction that the After-life is a reality. Thanks to this conviction, they begin to seek God's refuge from His punishment.)
(3:192) Our Lord! Whomever You cause to enter the Fire, him You indeed bring to disgrace, and there will be none to succour the wrong-doers.
(3:193) Our Lord! Indeed we heard a crier calling to the faith saying: "Believe in your Lord"; so we did believe. Our Lord, forgive us our sins, and wipe out our evil deeds and make us die with the truly pious.'
(3:194) 'Our Lord, fulfil what You promised to us through Your Messengers, and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection; indeed You never go back on Your promise.
(Tafsir: Mankind should not doubt the promises of the Almighty. Praying to Allah makes them worthy of His promised rewards. They are afraid lest they remain targets of slander and ridicule by the unbelievers in this world, and then be disgraced in the Hereafter before the same unbelievers who may mock them once again saying that their faith has been of no avail to them.)

Day 24 Reflection
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Allah created mankind from clay and jinn from fire to ultimately worship Allah (The Most High).
Allah (The Most High) said:
'And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.'
[Surah Al Dhariyat (The Wind that Scatter) 51:56]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) left Makkah and went to Taif to deliver Allah's message and provide guidance.
However, the people of Taif maltreated him and on his return journey to Makkah, jinns not known to him accepted his message whereas his own people rejected him.
"Say: It has been revealed that a company of jinns listened to the Qur'an. They said, we have really heard a wonderful Recital! It gives guidance to the right, and we have believed therein: We shall not join in worship any gods with our Lord. And exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. There were some foolish ones among us, who uses to utter extravagant lies against Allah."
[Surah Al Jinn 72: 1-4]
Therefore, Allah guides whom He wills and those who are guided need to maintain the guidance and remain steadfast.
The words of Allah and Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is what protects us and alleviates us and is an intercession on the Day of Judgement.
Abu Umamah (may Allah have mercy upon him) reported I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying,
“Read the Quran regularly since it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the day of judgement”
[Muslim]
In another hadith,
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet ( peace be upon him) said:
“Fasting and the Quran will intercede for a person on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: O Lord, I kept him from his food and desires during the day; let me intercede for him. And the Quran will say: I kept him from sleeping during the night; let me intercede for him. And they will be allowed to intercede.”
[Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘, 7329]
However, when reading the Qur'an, we need to ensure we live by it, why?
Just like how the Qur'an is an intercessor, it will also testify against those who ignored the purpose, obligations and cause negativity.
It was narrated that Abu Maalik al-Ash‘ari said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“The Qur’aan is evidence for you or against you.”
[Muslim (223)]
Let us live by the Qur'an inshallah

Let us live by the Qur'an inshallah
Day 25 Reflection
We have 5 days remaining of our Beloved Ramadan....to some its 6 days remaining...
I don't know about you, but I am feeling sad, since last Ramadan I have been anxiously waiting for this Ramadan and when it arrived, the blessings and virtues of this month is upon us and is leaving us soon and what is left is the marks of its impact and how it will help us to become a better me. A better you. A better relationship with Allah. A better relationship with others. A bitter relationship with the Shaytan...until the subsequent Ramadan inshaAllah.
In Surah Al Ghafir, Allah (The Most High) says:
'And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible."
[Quran, 40:60]
In the last ten days of Ramadan, when we do the Qiyaam and in generally when one wakes up for Tahajjud prayer in the last third of the night, please make dua to Allah (The Most High).
These moments provide us with such serenity and clarity, only Allah knows.
Al Numan bin Bashir (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrated that The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Indeed Supplication is worship and followed by recited the verse of 40:60, 'And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible."
Many of us STILL fail to understand the beauty of making dua, to call to Allah. The Most Seeing. Most Knowing. Most Hearing. The Most Generous. The Responder. The Pardoner. The Most Gracious. The Most Merciful.
We FAIL to understand how much Allah loves us and wants us to go to Jannah but it is us who chooses to go astray because we become blindfolded with our temporary desires without looking at the real picture, of what happens after the desires.
It is important to know that EVERYONE does mistakes.
Some of the Prophets have done mistakes such as Prophet Adam (peace be upon him).
Some of the Prophets children have done mistakes such as the children of Yaqoob (peace be upon him) and one of the sons of Noah (peace be upon him).
Some of the Prophets wives have done mistakes such as the wife of Lut (peace be upon him).
Some of the Sahaba (may Allah have mercy upon them) have done mistakes such as those who disobeyed the Prophet's orders on the Battle of Uhud.
However, the difference between the SIN and the OUTCOME is what did you do about it.
Did you continue or did you stop and seek forgiveness from the Almighty.
These days as we strive to search for Allah's Pardon in the last ten nights especially the odd nights, just FEEL and KNOW that Allah (The Most High) ENCOURAGES us, His Servants to call upon him because He is the Ultimate Provider, first and last.
Do NOT lose hope in His Mercy and Pardoning. The first sign of going the right way is the feeling of GUILT and SADNESS for the sin.
Sufyan al thawri (may Allah have mercy upon him) used to say:
"Oh, you who love most those who ask of You and Oh You who hate most those who do not ask of You and there is no one like that apart from You oh Lord"
This is recorded by ibn Abi Hatim.

Day 26 Reflection
Dear all,
Tonight is going to be the 27th night of Ramadan.
There are several hadiths regarding its importance:
Ubay ibn Ka’ab (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrated by Muslim:
“By Allah, I know about laylat ul Qadr and I know it fully well that it is the twenty-seventh night (during Ramadan) on which the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) commanded us to observe prayer.”
In another hadith, Mu’awiyah (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrated
“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said regarding the night of Al-Qadr, It is the 27th night (of Ramadan).”
[Muslim]
Now, I want you to FEEL and UNDERSTAND that Allah loves you, some of us may not be fasting due to either illness, travelling, age, menstruation, post-partum (after birth
) and other valid reasons between you and Allah.
Some of us may be fasting but were busy with either children, work shifts, exam revision and/or other reasons, Allah knows best where you wish to spend more time with Allah but unable to as intended.
Please do not be disheartened for Allah is the Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
All good actions are rewarded based on intentions and as long as we do it for the sake of Allah (The Most High) that is what matters.
Allah (The Most High) states:
"The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful."
[Surah Al Baqarah (The Cow) 2:185]
The Qur'an provides guidance and holds clear proofs and signs for all mankind. If you are unable to read, then listen to the beauty of His words to remain on the straight path.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has told us about the history of its revelation, as it was narrated from Wathilah ibn al-Asq’a that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
" The Scriptures of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) were revealed on the first night of Ramadan, the Torah was revealed on the 6th of Ramadan, the Gospel was revealed on the 13th of Ramadan, and the Quran was revealed on the 24th of Ramadan
[Ahmad].
When we are fasting, it is intended for gratitude, piety (Taqwa) and internally purifying ourselves.
It is obligatory to those who are healthy, however those who are unable to have a choice to either fast the other days or pay a Fidyah for each day not fasted.
Allah is the Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said in a hadith
"Hold to Allah's permission that he has granted you"
[Al-Muslim]
So just remember my dear brothers and sisters,
when we are doing any action, we need make dhikr (Remembrance to Allah) and when we pray, we make dua (Supplication).
Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Allah the Exalted said, 'I am as My servant thinks of me, and I am with him whenever he involves Me."
Then which of the favours of your Lord do you deny?
Allah's mercy is present at every moment and every step, Alhamdulilah.

Day 27 Reflection
What an Uplifting night subhanallah, everyone awake trying their best to do good actions, worship, dua, reading Qur'an amongst other acts of worship.
What a feeling of serenity and hope, seeing feet to feet, shoulder to shoulder, no shaytan entering between two brothers nor two sisters as they stand together facing a Qibla praying to Allah and seeking His repentance.
What a feeling of true love and bravery where we witness over 200,000 worshippers at one of the most sacred masjids, Masjid Al Aqsa. Thousand of worshippers at Makkah Al Mukaramah. Thousands of worship at Madinah Al Munawarah. The three most important landmarks in Islamic history.
What I love when viewing the photos from Palestine, is that subhanallah Allah has given them such strong faith mashallah that they always come out stronger Alhamdulilah.
Prayer restores faith in humanity knowing, regardless of who you are and what you have, we are just a servant of Allah (The Most High).
Oh Allah, if you do not have mercy upon us, forgive us, and pardon us, we shall certainly be of the losers.
Oh Allah, allow us to be of the winners and not of the losers on the Day of Reckoning.
"Then as for him whose scale of good deeds will be heavy. He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). But as for him whose scale of good deeds will be light. He will have his home in Hawiyah (Hell). And what will make you know what it is? I is a fiercely blazing Fire. "
(Quran, 101:6-11)

Day 28 Reflection
Dear all,
How are you all?
More importantly how is your mind, body and soul?
Many seasons ago as part of the Magnetic Love With Ramadan series, I did a video lecture titled:
Polishing our character during the blessed month of Ramadan.
*scrub* *scrub*
We scrub all the time ourselves, our homes but how often do we scrub our hearts and character?
Why is it important?
Our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“The best amongst you are the best in character and manners.”
[Al-Bukhari]
So how do we know what a good character is?
Who is our role model?
As the blood plasma circulating the nutrients around our body, our internal body requires the nutrients of Allah's love, His bounties and blessing upon us and the doors of His mercy upon us.
So what is our Polish?
It is a very special type that you cannot buy but it is given and advised.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said
”For everything there is a polish, and the polish for the hearts is the dhikr (remembrance) of Allah. There is nothing more potent in saving a person from the punishment of Allah than the dhikr of Allah.”
[Sahih Ahmed]
In another hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The dearest phrases to Allah are four: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), Al-Hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), La ilaha illa-Allah (There is no deity but Allah), Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greater). There is no harm for you in which of them you begin with (while remembering Allah).
[Sahih Muslim]
What about giving blessings upon the Prophet?
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever sends Salah upon me once, Allah will send Salah upon him ten-fold, and will erase ten sins from him, and will raise him ten degrees in status.”
[Al-Nasai]

Day 29 Reflection
Subhanallah my dear brothers and sisters this is the last day of fasting in the blessed month of Ramadan.
Our dear FRIEND, Ramadan is leaving.
Subhanallah, it felt as though yesterday it has just started, I cannot get enough of Ramadan, I absolutely love the atmosphere and vibes.
Can we slow time down?
Who knows whether we will meet another Ramadan.
Many last year said the dua:
Allahuma balighna Ramadan.
Oh Allah bring forth Ramadan.
However, many did not meet this year subhanallah as theit time is up.
Similarly, we make the intention but Allah knows whether we will reach another Ramadan we ask Allah to give us a peaceful and good ending (husnul khatimah)
This is the true reality of our existence and purpose.
We are travellers and our fuel is the Qur'an and Sunnah to direct us on our journey.
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy upon him) said
‘How can a believer not shed tears at the departure of Ramadan, when he doesn’t even know whether he’ll be alive for its return or not?’
[Lataif al-Ma’arif]
Some of us are lost despite having a compass, some of us have returned to further polish and some of us need a motivating push that the past is behind that can be learnt from, it's just understanding what qualities and traits gained and what exactly is the trial trying to teach us.
Do not dwell on what you cannot change but pray to Allah (The Most High) for consistency and His guidance..
Connectivity.
As the Shayateen slowly gets unlocked, I wanted to gently share a few concepts.
The night before Eid is known as Laylatul Al Jaizah ‘the Night of Rewards’.
During this night, many are preparing for Eid, but only a few would understand its virtues.
There is a few Hadith that shares its virtues.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
‘There are five nights on which du’a is not rejected: the first night of Rajab, the fifteenth night of Sha’ban, Thursday night, the night before Eid al-Fitr and the night before Eid al-Nahr (al-Adha)’.
[Suyuti]
In another hadith, Ibn Abbas (may Allah have mercy upon) heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) said
“And the night of Eid-ul-Fitr, the night that is called Laylatul Jaa’izah, (The night of prize giving), comes along. On the morning of Eid Allah sends down the Malaa’ikah (Angels) to all the lands of the earth where they take their positions at access points of roads, calling out with a voice that is heard by all except man and jinn.
“O Ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) come forth from your houses towards a Lord that is noble and gracious, who grants much and pardons the major sins”.
When they proceed towards the places for their Eid salah, Allah says to the Malaa’ikah: “What indeed is the reward of that employee who had rendered his services?”
The Malaa’ikah replies, “O Lord and Master, it is only right that he should receive his reward in full for his services”. Allah then says, “I call you to witness, O My Malaa’ikah, that for their having fasted during the month of Ramadhan, and for their having stood before Me in prayer by night, I have granted to them as reward My pleasure and have granted them forgiveness. O My servants ask now of Me, for I swear by My honour and My greatness, that whatsoever you shall beg of Me this day in this assembly of yours for the needs of the Hereafter, I shall grant you; and whatsoever you shall ask for worldly needs, I shall look at you favourably. By My honour I swear, as long as you shall obey My commands, I shall cover your faults. By My Honour and My Greatness do I swear that I shall never disgrace you among the evil-doing ones and disbelievers. Depart now from here, you are forgiven. You have pleased Me and I am pleased with you.
The Malaa’ikah on seeing this great reward bestowed by Allah upon the ummah of Muhammad( peace be upon him ) on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr become greatly pleased and happy”.
[Targheeb, also a similar hadith reported by Anas (radhiyallahu anhu) in Bayhaqi]
Subhanallah.!
Allah wants only good for us, but it is us who blindly choses to go astray. He continues to find waya in how we can converse with Him and He loves it when we call upon Him.
Is it worth wasting time dwelling on unnecessary things than praying to Allah for His Pardon, Mercy, Forgiveness and Eternal Paradise?
"Our Lord, Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.}
[Quran 3: 8]
Deep down, I feel that we have all given our very best Alhamdulilah to please Allah and do things for His Sake. Alhamdulilah 100x never underestimate how small but its significance is what matters and the intention is what matters.
May Allah accept all our actions and forgive us, set realistic goals on how we can remain consistent.
Here is a short lecture with video recording I did as part of Magnetic Love With Ramadan Season series I did a few seasons ago on how we can remain steadfast following Ramadan.
Enjoy.

Day 30 Reflection
ALHAMDULILAH (All Praise to Allah) we were given another day of fasting during the blessed month of Ramadan.
\nAs many were wondering when Eidul Fitr was and which masjid is doing which prayer.
\nI was wondering whether I would witness another Ramadan and what I need to personally need to do to remain consistent through doable steps after the spiritual boost and training in Ramadan to improve further for the remaining months before the subsequent Ramadan inshallah.
\nMy dear brothers and sisters, pray to Allah for continuous forgiveness and repentance during the night and Day of Eid.
\nMay Allah never allow us to become those of the following:
\n1) Strive hard in worship through night and day then when the month has ended we come back to committing sin and temptations and become negligent again.
\nDuring Ramadan where the Shayateen are locked away, we realise that when we do something wrong it's the nefs, it's us.
\nOur sins are like wounds that leave a mark and the only way to remove it is to replace it with a good deed and seeking forgiveness.
\nThe Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
\n“Follow a bad deed with a good deed, for it will wipe it out; and have a good attitude and good manners towards people.”
\n
\n2) Another form of mindset and personality to avoid is the following:
\n “The worshipper prayed for something that he wanted, and when the matter was done, he neither prayed nor fasted.”
\n [Arabic poetry]
\nMay Allah not allow us to be neither one nor two.
\nMay Allah make our sins and desires neither be reversible nor irreversible inhibitors of our mind, body and soul.
\nInshaAllah, as my Magnetic Love With Ramadan temporarily comes to a closure until next Ramadan inshaAllah. Here are two special duas for special Ummah.
\nO Allah, we have tried our best during this blessed month, so accept all our prayers, our fasts, and all other efforts; reward us for them and let them be the light to our soul that carries us through the gates of paradise.
\nO Allah, grant me, my family, and friends with good health and bless us with the opportunity to witness another Ramadan. Make these duas during prayer times.
\nAmeen

\nAmeen
